One of the apartments is dedicated to the famous statesman and great reformist of Modern Turkey Kemal Ataturk who attended military high school in Bitola (Mektebi askeri Idadie) in 1899. Strolling down Shirok Sokak Street (Wide Alley) he met his first love, the beautiful Vlach Eleni Karinte as it was proved from her letter sent to Kemal Ataturk.
